In this heart-warming, classic story, George Bailey, grows up in the small town of Bedford Falls, dreaming dreams of adventure and travel, but circumstances conspire to keep him from leaving his home town. Frustrated by his life, and haunted by an impending scandal, George prepares to commit suicide on Christmas Eve. Rescued by his Guardian Angel, George is shown what life in Bedford Falls would have been like had he never been born. Finally realizing the richness of his life, he returns back to his reality, where he discovers that the residents of Bedford Falls, all of whom he has affected for the better, have banded together to save him from bankruptcy.

It’s A Wonderful Life !

November 2nd, 2009

Well, we (the Grand Terrace Community Players) wanted to offer It’s a Wonderful Life to the residents of Grand Terrace and the surrounding communities in the Inland Empire free of charge, but were unable to secure enough sponsors, so we’re keeping the cost of the tickets as low as we possibly can, just to cover costs, so that everyone can come see the show.

It’s a wonderful, heart-warming, family friendly, holiday show (from the classic holiday movie) and our cast is currently busy rehearsing, to make this a great show !!

YOUR HELP IS STILL NEEDED TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN !!

We still need to raise funds to pay the “up front” production costs (insurance, lighting and sound equipment, performance rights, sound effects and score, etc.) to make this show happen. (again, no one at GTCP is being paid; we’re all volunteering our time and efforts)

We are planning on a Rummage Sale at 7 am, on Saturday, November 14th on Franklin Street in Grand Terrace, off Mt. Vernon (between Van Buren and Pico Streets). We’ll put plenty of signs out so you can find the sale !!

If you have items to sell, but not enough for a yard sale, donate it to us ! We’ll take care of the rest ! If you don’t have a donation, come to the sale and buy something !

Donated items can be delivered (please call me in advance at (909) 653-6851) on November 11th, 12th and 13th and are tax deductible ! Receipts will be provided upon request.

The proceeds will be used to cover the production costs and your name (or name of business) will be listed in our donor page in the sjow program. Sponsors will be listed in the program AND on show posters !!

We need to raise about $3,000 to put this show on and every donation, large or small, will help !

Cast and crew members that volunteer to help run the sale will be provided with refreshments.

Check out our website at www.gtcommunityplayers.com or email us at gtcommunityplayers@yahoo.com

 THANK YOU !!!
